The Katy Lawrence Quartet
is a great soft alternative to the KLB rock/blues/dance band, as they bring in an acoustic bass in place of the electric,
and soften the drum set with congas and other variety hand drums. This group includes John Jordan, who plays bass in the trio,
and Pep Salinas, who does the KLB drums, as well as Katy and Dell. The softer sound gives the versatility of different genres
as well as playing to a smaller group in a more contained setting. Check them out!
